Invest Barbados (IB) is Barbados’ Export Promotion Agency for export-ready service providers including cultural services providers.

Invest Barbados (IB) was created to assist Barbados to become even more responsive in a competitive international environment. IB is now responsible for attracting, winning and sustaining international investment for Barbados; unleashing the export potential of the indigenous services sector; and helping to develop and manage the Barbados Brand. IB’s Products and services include but are not limited to International Insurance Companies, International Banks, Trusts and Mutual Funds.

 

 The Indigenous Services Exports (ISE) Division is a specialist division, within IB, created primarily for the purpose of generating increased foreign exchange from the export of Barbadian services.

The Services of the ISE Division

·         Targeted promotional activities for high priority sectors

·         Identification of high potential  companies and projects

·         Support  for local companies in accessing expertise and finance

·         Market entry support  for export ready companies

·         Market intelligence

·         Establishment of sales and distribution channels

·         Assistance in identification of partners for joint venture and other forms of strategic alliances

·         Facilitating linkages between foreign investors and local service providers
